We have recently found out about a group in the Lansing area that is doing some pretty amazing work! Simply Love was founded by Brittani Hall just last year. The group started with hopes to share ways to be generous with others, no matter how simple or small it may seem—- it makes a BIG difference. Brittani wanted to make sure at risk children were still able to celebrate with an Easter basket, she had a goal of 40 baskets. The goal is 400 this year! Brittani also decided to start a Facebook page for Simply Love and in just ONE week she has had 128 people donate, over 2000 items purchased from Amazon wish list, 400 books given through charitable donations and 5000 more items bought with donations received.

Some of the ways to partner with Brittani and Simply Love for their current Easter Basket drive are purchasing items from the Amazon wish list, via PayPal or Venmo so they are able to purchase the items needed that are not on Amazon. We have listed these below!
Up next, they have some great things in the works for Mother’s Day! The Simply Love group would like to focus on single moms and make them feel extra special this Mother’s Day. They are hoping to get gift card donations from local restaurants, coffee mugs, chocolates, bath bombs, $5 Starbucks gift card—simple but thoughtful gifts. She does not have all of the details worked out yet, but they will be taking nominations for moms to be gifted the special Mother’s Day gifts.
